Katie has Retired!
After many beautiful puppies, Katie is ready to retire. At a youthful 9 years of age, she is an healthy, active dog who does enjoy her walks and games of fetch but also curling up at your feet,( or maybe on the couch if you are not around). A great companion. She has found a wonderful retirement home with the Richards in Guelph – thank you Katie.
Almost ready to join their new families! All Gone!
My, how fast these puppies have grown and developed. Weaned and on solid dog food, these lovely puppies just need to be tattooed, vet checked and get their first shots before they will be ready to became wonderful companions in their new homes. All that will take place in the next week. Time flies – everyone has a new home.
Simone’s New Litter!
We have puppies! Simone has given us a beautiful litter of 10 puppies – 5 girls and 5 boys. All are doing well and growing like weeds. Tucker, a fox red male has certainly shown his influence in these puppies as many of them have his colouring. We are looking forward to their eyes and ears opening and becoming more mobile. They will be ready for their new homes July 7. We will keep you posted.
All have new families!
We have had some very busy times as now all of our puppies have been selected to become new members of excited families. Beauty’s puppies are all in their new homes as orange boy was the last to leave.
All of the puppies from Sunshine’s litter have been reserved and are just waiting to be vet checked and get their 1st shots before joining their new families.
Winter puppies nearly gone – late spring or early summer puppies to come.

Six Weeks old and Looking Great!
A beautiful litter of puppies! All unique and different in their own ways. What enjoyment to watch them grow and develop. They have their vet check and 1st shots and are ready for their new homes. We have just our Orange boy still available. We’ll keep you posted.
Sunshine’s New’s Year’s litter
Sunshine’s beautiful 2017’s litter arrived January 10. Sired by Hurry, they are all doing well. There are 2 lovely females and 6 handsome, little fellows. We will be keeping you posted.
Beauty’s puppies at 3 1/2 weeks
Beauty’s puppies are really growing and just starting to develop their own unique personalities. All now have a colour collar so that the explorer,trouble maker, attention seeker or observer etc. can be identified at a glance. They are starting on solid food and in another week or so will be allowed to have visitors and selection will begin in earnest. We’ll keep you posted.
Christmas Puppies
Just in time for Christmas – Beauty presented us with a beautiful litter of black and yellow puppies December 21. There are 3 fox red yellows – a female and 2 males and there are 6 shiny black puppies – 2 males and 4 females. All are doing well as is mom with this, her first litter. The sire of the litter is ‘Tucker’, a young Hunter son who is pictured in our sires section of this site. Stay tuned – we’ll keep you posted.
Fun times begin!
Kassie’s puppies are great to watch – especially when they are out and about. It takes a lot of exploring and chasing each other before they are ready to settle down enough for a picture. But here they are! Every one has been reserved and will be in their new homes this weekend. They have been a fun group!
Kassie’s black Beauties
What an eventful week for these 3 week old puppies! Their eyes have opened, and their ears are no longer tight against their heads. They have gotten their legs under them -well most of the time, all the better to get around – and are just beginning to discover what their world is all about.
Now they will be introduced to eating “real” food in addition to mom’s milk. Both male and female puppies are available to be reserved.
Simone’s puppies at 4 weeks!
Growing fast and doing well, Simone’s puppies are out and about. This is their first experience outdoors and it was quite exciting to watch them.
Simone’s puppies have all found wonderful families and will all soon be in their new homes.
Simone’s first Litter!
Simone has a beautiful litter of puppies born May 27. The 2 boys are on the left and the 4 girls on the right. They are doing great – growing and changing daily. It will be wonderful to watch these little ones develop in the coming weeks.

New Puppies!
Two lovely litters of puppies have finally arrived! On May 27, we had the arrival of Simone’s first litter sired by Crakker – a beautiful young Australian yellow lab. We are looking forward to watching these yellow puppies develop.
Then on June 4, Kassie once again gave us an excellent black litter sired by Hunter. These are full siblings to her 1st 2 litters who are the more recent black puppies pictured on our site.
Puppies and moms are doing well but we have a problem with our waiting list for puppies. We have lost most of the emails of those asking to be on the puppy list and we have no way of contacting you. We recorded the names of everyone and the phone numbers of those who sent them but we intended to just “reply” to those with emails. We certainly would appreciate it if these people would please contact us if they are still interested in a puppy. Dora Lee’s Simone
Dora Lee’s Simone is the latest addition to our breeding females. Like her mother, Sunshine, she is full of energy, but anxious to please and affectionate. Being a Hurry daughter and a Hunter granddaughter, she will be an excellent hunter / retriever as well.
Here too, we are anxiously awaiting Simone’s first litter. We’ll keep you posted.
Introducing “Beauty”!
Introducing Dora Lee’s “Beauty”, who is joining our working females. Beauty is gentle in nature, affectionate and attentive but also a keen hunter and retriever like her parents. She is a very enjoyable companion.
Beauty is the first black female to be part of our kennel – out of Keisha, she is sired by Hurry. (Yes, chocolate bred yellow produces all black puppies.) She has passed all her testing and we look forward to having her as a “mom”.

Our winter puppies have all been selected for their new homes and will have joined their new families by early April. For those who were disappointed in not being able to select one of these puppies, we are expecting to have yellow and black puppies that should be ready for their new homes mid to late July. Anyone wishing to be added to our puppy list for these litters should get in touch so we can contact them when the puppies are born. These litters are from new moms and we will be introducing Beauty and Simone to you in a few weeks. We’ll keep you posted.
Katie’s puppies at 6 weeks old
These two lovely, young ladies have found loving homes. Pink is quite outgoing and adventuresome while Yellow is more laid back and prefers to follow.
These 2 handsome young fellows will be wonderful family companions. They enjoy exploring the outdoors with all its new sights, smells and sounds.
All are doing well and will be vet checked, have their 1st shots, worming etc and be ready to go March 29. They have been reserved to become a wonderful part of their new families
Sunshine’s Boys
Eight weeks old and growing up fast, Sunshine and her litter have done well. It is great fun to watch them outside as they explore their surroundings and interact with each other as each one develops their own unique personality. Visitors are always welcome – And all have found their new homes.

Sunshine’s beautiful litter arrived last week and are doing well. There are 2 females and 6 males. The darkest and the lightest coloured puppies are males with the females and other males being somewhere in between. We’ll keep you posted as they grow.

After a very quiet spring, summer and fall in 2015, the excitement is mounting as we await the arrival of 2 litters of puppies in the next few weeks. Sunshine will be first with a yellow litter by Hurry.
Then a couple of weeks later, Katie will have a chocolate litter sired by Brew. We will keep you posted!

Our Black Puppies!
Everyone has found wonderful families and are doing well in their new homes!
Kassie’s litter of lovely black puppies are doing just great. Weaned and tattooed, they are vet checked and have their 1st shots. There are 5 handsome young fellows and 4 beautiful young ladies.
Above are the fellows – and these are the young ladies. They are ready for their new homes. Four of these young lads have been chosen by their new families. We are enjoying Red while he waits to be selected. All the girls are in their new homes.
