Vet checked and first shots today and these young puppies are all set to join their new families. Kristy’s puppies have all found wonderful new homes.
Kristy’s pups have new quarters and now can be out and about exploring a whole new world. They are starting to eat solid food and it is fun to watch their developing personalities. There are some black males and chocolate males and females available. We’ll keep you posted.
Kristy has a beautiful litter of 9 chocolate and black puppies. Mother and puppies are doing well – the puppies growing like weeds. The puppies are sired by Cody. There are both female and male chocolate puppies and black male puppies available to be reserved. We will keep you posted.
Six weeks old and Crystal’s puppies are out exploring their world. You can hardly keep ahead of them now at a brisk walk. All of the puppies have found their forever homes. Less than a week left before they will be ready to go to their new homes. They are weaned and on solid food and will be vet checked and get their 1st shots late this week. We’ll keep you posted.
Crystal’s puppies are almost 4 weeks old and were moved to new digs where they could be outside more readily. They are becoming accustomed to dry food and are starting to explore their world and learn about each other. The boys are the top row and Gold. The girls are the bottom row and Purple. Pink and Purple get an extra photo in the middle. Just 2 little ladies needing to find their new families – Purple and Baby Blue. We’ll keep you posted.

The males are pictured in the top photo and the females are in the bottom photo
Kassie has been a great companion for us as well as giving us many litters of lovely puppies. Born May, 2012, it is time for her to retire. We are looking for a family who will enjoy her and give her a good retirement home. Kassie is a typical lab in that she loves the outdoors and all that entails. She also enjoys her inside time with her family.
We will keep you posted.
This is going to be a different winter here at Dora Lee as we’ve found we need to take a break from raising puppies until summer. Some of you have your names on our puppy list and were hoping for a winter or spring addition to your families. Unless we hear from you, we will contact you when there are puppies available – probably summer time. In the meantime, you may wish to check out other kennels.
We appreciate the interest and support shown Dora Lee Labradors over the years and hope to resume our breeding program later in the year. Take care. Stay well. We’ll keep you posted.
Finally! For all of you who have been patiently waiting for the Canadian Kennel Club registration certificate for your 2020 Dora Lee puppy, they were mailed last week! We just received the first of them a week ago although they were “issued” many months ago. CKC uses the date the data is processed as the date of issue and then it took months to get them printed and in the mail to us.
We do hope all of your puppies are doing well and you are enjoying the new member of your family. Take care and stay safe.
And all the puppies has an excited family just waiting to see which one will be theirs. The boys are the top row and the middle photos and the girls are the bottom row and left and right middle. Everyone did really well for being outside on a cool 7 degree day but the sun was shining for a change so we ventured out. At 4 weeks they are still developing, some a little faster than others but another week or two will make a big difference. We will be watching carefully as their personalities are just starting to take shape. They are certainly a happy, tail wagging group when they see you coming. Now the fun begins as they begin to explore this big wide world. We’ll keep you posted.
Introducing Crystal’s 2020 litter by Cody. At 5 days of age they are all doing well and growing like weeds. There is a wide range of colour with most of the lighter puppies being females and the males being a little darker. They should be ready for their new homes November 6. And, all the puppies are reserved by their new families. We’ll have new pictures in the next week or so. We’ll keep you posted.
Here they are! Kristy’s puppies are now 4 weeks old and ears, eyes and legs are developing nicely as they start to explore their surroundings. Personalities are just starting to emerge as they interact with each other. The 2 girls are in the top two corners, with the black fellows next and the chocolate boys center and bottom. All have families anxiously waiting to take them home and the big question of which one goes where will be determined in the next few weeks.
She kept us waiting but finally Kristy has given us this beautiful litter of puppies. The 2 chocolates on the left are females, with 3 black males in the center and 4 chocolate males on the right. All have been reserved by their new families! These puppies have a lot of growing to do but give them a month or so and you won’t recognize them. We’ll keep you posted.
Kassie’s pups have done well and are almost ready to go to their new homes. The girls have been the most popular but everyone now has a new home to go to. Kristy will have our next litter mid May – those puppies should be black and/or chocolate.
Simone and Kassie have just had their puppies last week. Both litters are sired by Cody and doing well. Although some are reserved, there are a few still available.
Simone’s yellow litter has 3 females, on the left and 2 males on the right.
Kassie’s litter has 2 black and 1 chocolate female puppies, on the left; and 1 black and 2 chocolate male puppies on the right.
These puppies should be ready for their new homes April 21 and 22. We’ll keep you posted.
Charlotte and Sadie (yes, they have names now) are still waiting to become part of loving families. They are enjoying the outdoors, including the snow and each other and we are enjoying them with their carefree puppy ways.
And now Charlotte has found a home! She will be joining Paul and his family after the Christmas holidays. That just leaves Sadie to find her new family. And finally, Sadie has a loving home in Scarborough.
We have 2 beautiful young ladies waiting for families to love.
Sunshine’s little yellow lady is a real prima dona, who loves to sit like a princess, and take in what’s happening around her before joining a game of tag or general rough housing with her play mates. She enjoys fetch and being with her ‘people’.
Kristie’s last black female is all about action. She is the explorer, the instigator of chase and loves charging through the tall grass in the fence rows. She does have her quieter times and enjoys her people as well. She’ll be a welcome companion in a family that enjoys lots of activity.
And here are Sunshine’s puppies. They have been vet checked and have their 1st shots and are ready to go as are Kristie’s pups. There is just 1 yellow female still available – Pink. We’ll keep you posted.
Kristie, the newest member of our kennel and a near replica of her mother Kassie, has had a beautiful black and chocolate litter by Lincoln, also a new, young dog just starting his breeding career. He is black and she is chocolate, therefore we have both colours. These youngsters are out and about, are on solid food and finding out what the world is all about. There is just a black female available. The chocolates and all of the black males have their new homes. These are our last chocolate or black puppies available this year. We’ll keep you posted.
This is Blue. He is a really nice, 9 week old puppy still available from Crystal’s litter. People ask why he is left – they ask what is wrong with him to not be chosen. The answer is simple. His litter mates were chosen because they were very light coloured (3) or because they wanted fox red. One was chosen because he was the most energetic and outgoing. Another because she was very shy. So the puppy that was left is this very mild mannered, playful but affectionate, beautiful puppy. Blue will be a great family companion. And has just found his new family in Owen Sound.
Keep tuned – we have more puppies available in a couple of weeks. Their pictures are coming soon.
And here they are at 4 weeks of age. Crystal’s six boys are in the 1st 2 rows and the three girls are at the bottom. There is every shade of blonde you might want. And each one changes in different light depending on whether it is sunny or shade or cloudy. And the personalities are developing as well – purple is first out the door and then there are others that prefer to wait and see what’s happening before they venture far. Yes, there will be a lot of changes in these puppies in the next 3 weeks. Just 2 little boys left – the 2 on the far left of the top 2 rows. We’ll keep you posted.
And here we have Crystal’s beautiful new litter of puppies at a week of age. The 3 girls are on the left and the 6 boys are on the right. Both girls and boys are still available to loving homes. We’ll keep you posted.
This little fellow is the last of beauty’s litter to need a family to love. Although small in stature, he is full of energy, very attentive and loves to be with people. He sports an interesting patch of white on his chest and a couple of white toes. Born May 17, he is all ready to go. And Gage has found a home with wonderful people from Dunnville.
And we have new puppies! Crystal’s yellow litter sired by Cody is just beautiful! They range in colour from fox red to quite light like their mom with most somewhere in between. These puppies should be ready for their new homes August 20. Both male and female puppies are available. We’ll keep you posted and should have some early pictures in a week or two.
