Labrador Retrievers – Quality Puppies From Our Family to Yours

Latest

Winter – Spring 2021

This is going to be a different winter here at Dora Lee as we’ve found we need to take a break from raising puppies until summer. Some of you have your names on our puppy list and were hoping for a winter or spring addition to your families. Unless we hear from you, we will contact you when there are puppies available – probably summer time. In the meantime, you may wish to check out other kennels.

We appreciate the interest and support shown Dora Lee Labradors over the years and hope to resume our breeding program later in the year. Take care. Stay well. We’ll keep you posted.

2020 Registration Certificates

Finally! For all of you who have been patiently waiting for the Canadian Kennel Club registration certificate for your 2020 Dora Lee puppy, they were mailed last week! We just received the first of them a week ago although they were “issued” many months ago. CKC uses the date the data is processed as the date of issue and then it took months to get them printed and in the mail to us.

We do hope all of your puppies are doing well and you are enjoying the new member of your family. Take care and stay safe.

Crystal’s Puppies at 4 Weeks

And here they are!

And all the puppies has an excited family just waiting to see which one will be theirs. The boys are the top row and the middle photos and the girls are the bottom row and left and right middle. Everyone did really well for being outside on a cool 7 degree day but the sun was shining for a change so we ventured out. At 4 weeks they are still developing, some a little faster than others but another week or two will make a big difference. We will be watching carefully as their personalities are just starting to take shape. They are certainly a happy, tail wagging group when they see you coming. Now the fun begins as they begin to explore this big wide world. We’ll keep you posted.

Crystal’s 2020 Beauties

Five girls on the left and 4 boys on the right

Introducing Crystal’s 2020 litter by Cody. At 5 days of age they are all doing well and growing like weeds. There is a wide range of colour with most of the lighter puppies being females and the males being a little darker. They should be ready for their new homes November 6. And, all the puppies are reserved by their new families. We’ll have new pictures in the next week or so. We’ll keep you posted.

How they have grown!

Here they are! Kristy’s puppies are now 4 weeks old and ears, eyes and legs are developing nicely as they start to explore their surroundings. Personalities are just starting to emerge as they interact with each other. The 2 girls are in the top two corners, with the black fellows next and the chocolate boys center and bottom. All have families anxiously waiting to take them home and the big question of which one goes where will be determined in the next few weeks.

Looking for a family – Families found!

Charlotte & Sadie collage 2

Charlotte and Sadie (yes, they have names now) are still waiting to become part of  loving families. They are enjoying the outdoors, including the snow and each other and we are enjoying them with their carefree puppy ways.

And now Charlotte has found a home! She will be joining Paul and his family after the Christmas holidays. That just leaves Sadie to find her new family. And finally, Sadie has a loving home in Scarborough.

Just these Two Lovely Females Left – and they have found homes!

We have 2 beautiful young ladies waiting for families to love.

Sunshine’s little yellow lady is a real prima dona, who loves to sit like a princess, and take in what’s happening around her before joining a game of tag or general rough housing with her play mates. She enjoys fetch and being with her ‘people’.

Kristie’s last black female is all about action. She is the explorer, the instigator of chase and loves charging through the tall grass in the fence rows. She does have her quieter times and enjoys her people as well. She’ll be a welcome companion in a family that enjoys lots of activity.
